My sister Lia and I by sheer luck found Susan and her charming house in May 2009. Susan amazed us with her warmth, knowledge of the area, willingness to be our travel consultant, heathy and varied European breakfast cook and charming, welcoming hostess at all times. We loved her imaculate room, comfy beds and the closeness to the old Marblehead... more

An old highschool friend had contacted me to go out and visit Marblehead. We went out there in the off-season but there was nothing off about the 'Harborside House'. Susan Livingston was on it from the place, to your space, to having it worry free so that you can enjoy this beutiful little town. At first I was thrown off... more

We have stayed in Marblehead on a few other occasions, and were very happy to have found the Harborside House. The location was perfect for my husband, 14 year old daughter, and myself. The house was lovely, with ocean views, and being a quick walk to Old Towne's quaint shops and restaurants, made it the ideal location. Our hostess, Susan,... more

Last year we stayed at Harborside House for three nights, This year we extended it to six nights, mainly because of the comfort of the entire house, the hominess of our spacious room with a view of the harbor, and the amazing hospitality of our host, Susan Livingston. The healthy and substantial breakfasts always featured homemade nut breads, fresh fruit,... more

Beautiful house in beautiful settings. The view over the harbor was amazing. Susan Livingston was a very good host who made us feel welcome. Our only gripes were that this was somebodys house as opposed to a 'faceless' hotel. Not an ideal location for people on honeymoon!!! more

If you are going to Salem or anywhere north of Boston, you must experience the heavenly little harbor town of Marblehead. And to get the true flavor of the place, stay at Susan Livingston's Harborside House. Salem town is a loud and harsh tourist destination. But Marblehead--just 15 minutes east--is a sweet and gentle neighborhood of gorgeous New England cottages... more

I recently stayed for four nights at Susan Livingston's Harborside House, where I received a warm welcome. This charming B & B is conveniently situated in the very architecturally interesting and historic area of Marblehead, and is within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts nutritious and delicious.... more

We stayed at Harbourside House on 16 June 2006 for 6nts and I can honestly say that my parents and I had the most fantastic stay. Susan is a warm and generous hostess, it was our first time to New England and Susan helped us to make the most of our stay there. The information and help given was first... more

What a wonderful and delightful stay I just had! I was traveling to Boston for work with my business partner and he decided that rather than staying in a cold downtown hotel that maybe we should try the warmth and hospitality of a B&B on the gorgeous coastline. He lives in the UK and found Harborside House online. We got... more
