We stayed at Econo Lodge the Springs in mid-August, 2003. We checked in after the person at the desk finally found our reservation. We went to our room. No one told us there is a master switch inside the door which has to be turned on for the electricity in the room to work. And, because it was dark in the room, we couldn't see it. We called the front desk and someone came to show us. From that time on, every time housekeeping cleaned the room, they turned the electricity off. So, everytime we returned, the bedside clock had to be reset after turning the electricity back on. The first night the phone stopped working. We went to the front desk and were told someone would fix it. We went out to dinner. When we returned, we were told it would be fixed in the morning. In the morning (a Saturday) we were told no one could fix it until Monday because it was the weekend. At that point we asked to be moved to a room with a working phone.
