Spent 1 Night at hotel Northhampton for UMass graduation last weekend. The Courtyard and Holiday Inn required 2 night's stay at the same cost per night as hotel Northhampton. So Glad we chose Hotel Northampton! We had low expectations due to some of the reviews on trip advisor. We were pleasantly surprised! Yes, the rooms are small and the beds... More

The hotel is cute and has a lot of charm. The rooms were clean but very small. Bathrooms had been updated but the rest of the place could use some updating. Food was good at the restaurants but the one in the basement was very dark and depressing. Good walking location to shops and restaurants. Beds were not comfortable.

On our most recent New England get-away, we stayed at the Hotel Northampton. It is right in the middle of a lovely town. Wandering around we found that it has a live music venue right across the street from the hotel and several restaurants so it is a perfect place for a weekend away. We found the hotel well appointed... More

Quaint hotel, great location downotown Northampton. Good restaurant, but service slow. Good bar area for late night light meals and spirits. Commfortable room, conference facilities as well. Work out room leaves a lot to be desired. Very small and just one elliptical and one treatmill.

We visited family attending Hampshire College and did some hiking and sightseeing. We stayed in the Hotel Northampton from March 29, 2013 to March 31, 2013. We picked this hotel as it seemed to have a good number of amenities and had gotten good reviews. We had a reasonably good selection of rooms, although I felt the rates were a... More

We visited Northampton, MA to attend a show at the Calvin Theater. As it turned out, the theater was directly across the street. In short, the location was perfect. The room was clean, spacious, and provided access to a balcony overlooking the main thoroughfare running through downtown. We enjoyed a sunny early spring afternoon watching the Smith College students come... More

It's well located and has no lack of charm. Personnel make an effort to be pleasant and welcoming. But it really is rather tired and frayed around the edges. I've stayed here several times as it's the most decent place in town. If only someone would take it in hand and give it something of a makeover.

This is a beautiful old hotel. Everything is very quaint, neat and comfy. Since graduating from nearby Smith College, this remains my go-to place to stay. After a full day of meetings on campus, this is my perfect place to unwind. Join friends for a glass of wine in the old Wiggin's Tavern Inn and sit in front of the... More

I love Northampton but after this past weekend I'm not loving the town's historical hotel. Although we've stayed in the main building several times, this weekend we booked one of their cottages looking for more room and a little more privacy. When we checked in we were pleased by the decor and the space...however that night we realized that while... More

Thank you for your feed back. I would like to sincerely apologize for the inconveniences of your stay. We are in the process of replacing the mattress in that room and we have addressed the noise issues with those parties involved. I also need to apologize for how your issues were handled the next morning. I do hope that after... More

I was here last weekend for a conference, and this is a beautiful hotel. I found everything to be immaculate, the staff very pleasant and professional, but very friendly. After a full day of meetings and workshops, it was heaven to sleep in the most comfortable bed and pillows. And the shower the next morning - great water pressure, and... More
