Although it's on a divided highway with limited access and that means some extra driving when leaving or arriving, the location is convenient to a lot of area locations. As a former resident in the general area, at first I balked at the address: Route 1 around here is a bit seedy. But I'd bet they built it here knowing... more

I booked this hotel after reading good reviews on Tripadvisor. None mentioned the noise (diesel trucks braking and accelerating up the hill in front of the hotel). I always ask for a quiet room anyway. So when we arrived late (after midnight), I reiterated my request for a quiet room. The room they gave us (223) a room on the... more

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 5 nights as a getaway while I was also interviewing for a job. When I first checked in they were very busy but there was only one person at the front desk (I never saw more than one person at the front desk while I was staying there). In a place that large... more

This hotel was very nice and really affordable for the location and type of hotel. The rooms were very good sized and very clean. I especially liked the sitting area that included a chair and a sofa. I also liked the free WiFi. The staff was very helpful. The first room I was given smelled of smoke, so they quickly... more

The rooms were excellent, especially for the price. We checked in for Halloween in Salem, so it was a extremly busy weekend. I would suggest that the hotel invest in their own shuttle to take customers to Salem for weekend, as the area shtuttles were not well run. Breakfast was great, although because it was so busy, there was a... more

Despite this being a well appointed facility any benefit is far outweighed by the awful location. It is situated at the cross roads of severals highways with no clearly marked way to enter the street that leads to the hotel. Once you have missed the entry turn it is a long circuit back. When we commented about this to the... more

I had to visit the area for a family event. My brother arranged a room for me at this property. Easy check-in. The room layout was a little odd but not a problem for me. It was a very large livingroom area (HUGE in fact), with a fridge and microwave and sink. The sofa was more of a loveseat and... more

For being so close to Boston/Coast you can't beat the price. Nice large room was comfortable for the 5 of us. The Hotel staff was very helpful with information regarding travel into Boston or any other question we had. The breakfast was ample with enough food for the early bird or late riser (served from 6:30 - 9:30). Coffee and... more

Good place to stay. Close to Boston, but at half the price. Good location to start working your way up the coast. Nice clean rooms and good complimentary breakfast (hot items like eggs and sausage along with the usual fare). Would recommend for business or vacation. more

Let me clarify by saying the rooms are okay, but the hotel staff/management is not. The suites are fairly small and the only thing separating the sleeping area from the sitting room is a sort of half wall. There is one TV in the sitting area, so no watching TV from bed or in my case ...an unhappy elderly Mom... more
