This is a charming B&B conveniently situated near Lenox and Stockbridge and with the home cooked breakfast is definitely a better deal than the chain hotels in the area. On a damp night staying at the Thaddeus Clapp House is definitely worth coming indoors. Just flick a switch and the 'fireplace' with dancing flames turns on and warms the elegant room in a minute. Although the Thaddeus Clapp House looks ordinary from the exterior, the interior is spectacular. The front foyer is gorgeous.
