We happened upon the Beaconlight on a stormy Monday night. Basically, it was getting late and we needed a place to stay. It turned out to be a delightful surprise. I travel a lot and have stayed in many B&B's, especially in England. I have never stayed at one so immaculately clean. As my mother used to say, "you could... more

Found the guesthouse on Tripadvisor, so decided to stay here for 2 nights. Rented the suite on the 2nd floor (Plymouth Fireplace Suite). The room was nice and very very clean with 2 A/C's but it was at the corner of the house (A frame) so the ceiling line was very steep. However, the room inside was very nice. Had... more

I found this guesthouse on TripAdvisor; my boyfriend and I were planning a last-minute weekend getaway to Provincetown (literally 48 hours before leaving), and we just wanted an inexpensive, clean room. We found a room that was around $100 per night, which was just right, and felt ok with the other reviews here. This guesthouse is immaculate, and cleanliness in... more

I stayed with my girlfriend at the Beacon Light House last Memorial Weekend 2008 and we had the best time of our lives again... We also stayed there the same weekend 2007 and we are planning to make it our yearly trip. Keith and Mark make it so easy to want to come back and stay at their guesthouse. Besides... more

It has taken me some time to write this review but I could not agree more with some of the earlier comments on the staff. It is all true! From the glares and the overall unfriendliness of the uncomfortable breakfast set up in the kitchen, to the not so friendly houseboys -- I would not recommend this place. The rooms... more

The Beaconlight is the cleanest and best maintained guest house I've ever stayed in. The rooms were spotless, and efficient. Everything was well stocked, (there seems to always be hot coffee until the kitchen closes) the hosts were accommodating, and the scones are traditional. Thank you again for a very pleasant stay, I hope I have reason to visit again... more

PTown is my favorite destination and the Beaconlight has served as my home away from home for well over 5 years now. The suites offer all the comforts of home. The furnishings are in keeping with this beautiful home’s historic background. The many decks offer a variety of comfortable nooks to curl up and read a book sheltered from the... more

Beautifully appointed guest rooms and common spaces. The Beaconlight is conveniently located one-half block from Commercial Street in easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and all Provincetown has to offer. An elegant complimentary continental breakfast is served daily and the hosts provide weekly early evening get togethers for guests. Spacious decks add to the general ambience of the house. more

We had another wonderful stay at the Beaconlight Guest House in Provincetown, Mass. The house is a beautiful colonial seaport house decorated in oriental rugs, antique furniture and upscale period art. The house is meticulously maintained by the always attentive owners--Mark and Keith. Each morning a fabulous spread of homemade muffins, cereals, fruits and gourmet coffee greets the guests in... more

I found the Beaconlight Guest house over the internet. The pictures on the website looked great, but what sold us was the location. We had been to P-town twice before, once on the East end near the galleries, and on the West end near the beach road. This time we decided to stay in the center of things. Having to... more
