This inn is old and in a part of town far from the center BUT - the rooms face the bay, the restaurant is 5 star and the service is impeccable. Reservations ahead of time are a must as the inn has only 8 rooms. Reservations are also a must for the restaurant. If you like an inn with character,... more

I called the Red Inn today to make a reservation. I just came to trip advisor to find that others have also had the pleasure of speaking to the Red Inn's rude and aggressive staff. I was placed on hold for 4 or 5 minutes and decided to call back. I was greeted with "what is the problem, were we... more

Well, just returned from a three-night Thanksgiving holiday stay at the Red Inn. While the Inn is well situated in P-Town's West End, with picturesque views of Cape Cod Bay, we can honestly say the hotel is beginning to get a little threadbare. Rooms are very small...and the baths even smaller. Furniture is in need of reupholstering, and the advertised... more

WOW!!! Thank you Tom, Mike and staff of the Red Inn Resturant for making my husband and I feel like a King & Queen when we choose to celebrate our wedding anniversary there. We have many friends and family that are waiting for our personal reviews. We are going to tell them all that it is by far the best... more

I was concerned by some of the negative reviews on here about the service, but figured the views and location would make up for it and booked a room. To my surprise the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. When we checked in we were warmly greeted, given a tour and shown to our room. Staff were... more

What this historic inn lacks in amenities (no pool, gym, etc), it makes up for in location and charm. It has breathtaking views of Provincetown Harbor. At high tide, the water reaches the breaker wall below the inn's patios; at low tide you can walk/wade halfway across the bay - or along the beaches into Provincetown. The staff was friendly... more

We have traveled to the Cape for years and usually make a pilgramage to the Red Inn for a special dinner. The food and the dining room are fabulous. When it was time to celebrate a Milestone birthday I wanted to stay at the Inn. We were greated by an indifferent staff member who escorted us to a narrow stair... more

The veal was $46, came out like rubber. Asked for a replacement, 45 minutes later, we walked out. We reserved a window seat, person seating us said, this seat (way in the back), or this seat (at bar) or nothing. We took the back. The web site says you need to reserve 6 - 8 weeks in advance. Yup, you... more

We had a great stay at the Red Inn. Our room (the Pilgrim's Landing suite) was fantastic, the view is the best you can get on the Cape. And, there was a great deck right off the bedroom. We spent a whole afternoon just sitting out on our own waterview deck. The room itself was well done, the bedroom had... more

We had an absolutely wonderful room/view, beautiful weather and a fabulous stay. There were no problems with the room. However, I have to say, we actually seemed to be a bother to the staff there even though we never asked for a thing. We were never asked if we needed anything, how our stay was, etc. They were not very... more
