This is the most expensive campsite I have ever stayed at in my life. I recall it ended up costing us $70 a night. For that amount of money the campsite provided poor facilities compared to all the other campsites we stayed at on our road trip of the east coast. The location was very close to the town at... More

We recently camped at Dunes' Edge over Labor Day weekend. I should preface this review by mentioning that we ended up picking the campground after finding that accommodations in town were pretty much all booked. We are not regular campers. In fact we had to borrow a tent for the trip. That being said, I was quite happy with the... More

My wife & I tent-camped here Aug. 9th thru the 13th after a strong recomendation from a good friend. The entire staff was very friendly & helpful. We enjoyed the convenience of being so close to downtown P-Town and the beaches without sacrificing the atmosphere of a good old fashioned woodsy campground. We had some friendly nieghbors too, which is good... 1st time in P-town. Tent camped with children and mixed group of straight/gay women. Everyone felt very comfortable. Great location for walking and biking to town or beach bike paths. You do need to navigate a short area along busy rt 6 & intersection before safer travel for kids. Sites are small & close together so get a map and... More

It's great being within walking distance of Ptown, and less than a mile from the bike path that goes to Race Point Beach. The campsites are very close together (though at least they're mostly tent sites), and the bathroom look (and smell) as if they date from the '40s. I think decades of urine has soaked into the concrete and... More

I camped there for the first time last weekend and it is the nicest, well taken care campground we have ever stayed in. The front office staff was very attentive. The store had everything you forgot at home and price was right on target for a campground that was walking distance into town. TIP: Bring your bike! The bike trail... More

Dunes Edge Campground is a fabulous place for people who want to enjoy camping in a beautiful, clean, QUIET campground convenient to the beaches and town of Provincetown. You can walk to town easily and bike to several beaches. The bike trails and dunes for hiking are fabulous. This is the nicest campground I've stayed in in years because quiet... More

I LOVED Dunes Edge Campground. The location was awesome....it is far enough out of town that you feel like you are camping, yet close enough for a 10 minute bike ride into the center of P-town. I have been coming to P-town for years and never camped before. It is also right next door to an incredible biking/hiking path that... More

Its overpriced for what you get. The sites are tight for trailers, they need to cutdown some trees to open the entry points at their sites. Roads are narrow. It's a goos place to tent it. No soap or paper towels in washrooms. I graded it average due to location. It's close.

We went and camped at Dunes Edge for 2 nights. It was my first time camping and I wasn't really sure what I was walking into. We weren't really there during the day (we had friends who lived closer to the beach) but got there late and used it as a place to sleep. In the morning, they have a... More
