I booked the Black Peal at the last minute for a quick overnight in ptown. I've stayed in some wonderful places in ptown, but chose here because they accept dogs. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are very big(I was in a suite). However the hotel is falling apart. My window screen was taped in, my blinds did not work and the rooms are FILTHY. I think this could be a great hotel if the owners pay more attention on upkeep and maintenance. more

Guy and Louis are very nice and went out of their way to be accomodating. There was a problem with the jacuzzi spa in our room and when we told them they rushed over right away and spent hours fixing the problem. They even lit a fire for us. We were in the "cottage".
