My wife and I were hoping for a quiet, overnight getaway after Thanksgiving, so we booked a night at the Old Farm Inn. The first clue that things were not right at the Inn came in the initial phone call. The owner first told us that they would not be serving breakfast, then after consulting with the co-owner, she confirmed... more

We loved our relaxing stay at the Old Farm Inn. Ir is quiet and peaceful and a two minute walk into the oceanfront Halibut Point State Park with dramatic views to NH and Maine. Loved wqalking to dinner at the Lobster Pool in Folly Cove and watching the sunset. Staff and chambermaids are friendly, rooms are clean, nice widescreen tv... more

We booked this inn based on reviews and their website. All was as represented. They have an age limit, 8 yrs or older, we squeaked it with our 8 and 10 yr olds. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and informative. Rooms were private, clean and beds were comfortable. We walked to the adjacent and very wonderful Halibut Point Park.... more

The Inn is situated well - adjacent to a wonderful state park (Halibut) and just a short car ride to the center of Rockport. The grounds are lovely and there is a feeling of tranquility there. The rooms and common rooms were clean and neat. We got great value for our money. more

The Old Farm Inn was the perfect choice for a relaxed weekend out of the city. yes, it is quiet this time of year, but that was exactlly what we were looking for. The Inn has spacious grounds, not common for other Rockport Inns. We are definately planning to return this summer for an extended vacation and will try to... more

Our family recently visited Rockport and the Old Farm Inn. Rockport is a lovely town (Make sure you stop by Top Dog for a hot dog - worth it!) by the sea. We choose the Old Farm Inn as it was close to Halibut Point State Park - which is worth seeing. Our suite was very nice and as pictured... more

Color photos are 'colorful' and the site for this 'B&B' shows some brilliant shots of a New England seaside farm converted to a nice inn. And, indeed it is nice... not as brilliant, not as well kept up but really a fine Bed and Breakfast... continental style. Shelly makes a very good quiche and along with fresh fruit and muffins,... more

Carl takes good care of the Old Farm Inn and exudes the kind of care and concern that assures his guests' needs are well met. The recent inclusion of the parlor, den, large kitchen and sun room of the main house as guest common areas is a definite bonus. Carl made sure we had a warm fire in the den,... more

The Old Farm was a charming and welcoming property, starting with a friendly greeting at the door from Dory, the golden retriever. The room was charming and felt like home. The fireplace in the living room was always lit and guests gathered there to share their travel stories. I can't say enough about Carl the innkeeper. He is the most... more
