We stayed two nights, which means we had two great breakfasts, at the Seven South Street Inn. Very clean rooms, small but ours was very well decorated, and just a few minutes walk down the hill into the charming town of Rockport. Just far enough to make you feel like you got to walk off a little of your dinner... more

We will look back fondly on our week long stay at the Seven South Street Inn. The beautiful 18th century exterior and wonderfully furnished interior rooms (with modern conveniences) quickly drew us away from the fast pace of our working lives. The inn is nestled in the charming seaside village of Rockport, MA. Our daily morning walks to the Village... more

Comfortable, warm, homely inn. Beautiful rooms with so much care taken on decor and comfort. Debbie is the perfect host - enthusiastic, welcoming, eager to help with information and suggestions and what a cook! Breakfast was delicious and imaginative. Yet another way she shows such care and attention to detail. Rockport is a gem of a place and perfect base... more

I stayed here for 6 nights in their 'single' room. It was a luxurious queen bed with high quality bed linen. Ther room was homely and welcoming with high end fittings. The bathroom was incredibly nice with bathrobes, cotton buds and lots of other toiletries. I am wheat intolerant and enjoyed 4 course breakfasts every morning. Debbie, the hostess was... more

I had a quiet overnight in an elegant yet comfortable room with a spotless modern bathroom. The inn is typically New England and yet the owners have tastefully combined old-world charm with modern-day amenities. Deb's breakfast was outstanding, and she sent me off on the road with extra slices of her delicious pumpkin spice bread. There were some really nice... more

My husband and I just stayed at this wonderfully charming inn for a long weekend getaway. Our room and the common areas were simultaneously elegant, comfortable and homey, not to mention immaculate. The breakfasts were so much better than we could ever have imagined. They were beautifully presented and oh-so good. Each day brought a new selection of fresh fruits,... more

Having first stayed here in September 2006, but only for two nights, I returned for a week, safe in the knowledge that my accommodation would be more than satisfactory. (Rockport itself can be seen in a day, but there are other attractions in the area - including Boston, accessible via train - which makes this inn an excellent 'base' for... more

What a wonderful week! We spent our 20th anniversary in the New England area. It was our first time in the area. We really enjoyed the inn. Debbie, Nick and the staff were wonderful hosts. All were very courteous. Most mornings the room was cleaned while we were at breakfast. The room (#2 - Dorothy's Deck) was just like the... more
