We have stayed here many times over the past ten years, The Seafarer is a real gem. The location is beautiful, on a quiet street, with wonderful views of the water. My wife and I recently stayed at the Inn for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was a surprise get away. The owner, Dolores, was very helpful in putting our visit together. The view from the Master Suite was excellent. Wonderful breeze comes through. Do not stay in the twin bed rooms second floor. No air/no cross ventilation. HOT in the summer / no over head fan. We stayed at The Seafarer Inn in Rockport, MA (not Maine) for the weekend. Every room has a view of the ocean and we could hear the surf from our room.
