With Cape motels you expect to find a run down, dark and not so clean room. Not at the Handkerchief of Shoals! The rooms were clean, bright and comfortable (the AC units worked in every room I went into) and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a good sized, clean pool and continental breakfast in the morning.... more

came here early in the week for a wedding at the end , with wife and kids ,felt totaly welcome and when our air conditioner failed they wasted no time messing with repairs,We came back to new one.clean rooms,nice pool,good water pressure in shower,and didn't run out of hot water,shower after shower. I stayed at the Handkerchief Shoals for one night, and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and spacious, and they offered a complimentary continental breakfast. There was also a pool onsite. It is definitely a good value for the price, and only a short drive to Chatham center and beaches. more
