My girlfriend and I had a great experience at the Anchorage despite the fact that the weather didn't communicate with our plans. The location is great; located off of the major roads, you have to watch out for the correct side roads to even find the B&B. But once you find it, you'll love the location on the quiet road across from the beach. The rooms were very spacious for a Bed and Breakfast, and they were off to the side of the house with their own private entrances and bathrooms. My only real complaint would be that the rooms were very basic. But, for the price (which is cheaper than any other Bed and Breakfast I found in the area), you get everything you need. Ruth was very accommodating and made great fresh muffins in the morning. I'd recommend staying here and would like to go back when the weather's nicer. more
