My girlfriend and I were very disappointed with the room. It smelled of smoke; the bathroom was not clean and the bed linen smelled of smoke. I know that the new owners of this motel are trying their best; but I would not recommend until the motel have been remodel. more

The new owners of the Captain Jonathan should put more energy in upgrading their new acquisition, which in our view has great potential as a family motel. I cannot believe the above review! This place is a dive! The rooms are old, musty and there were no smoke free rooms. Maybe after the new management makes the appropriate renovations, it will be better (HOPEFULLY!) more

I have been going to the Cape since 1965 almost every year except for a few during and after my divorce and I have stayed at many motels, cottages, and even condominiums but I have to honestly say that other than staying in the condos, your motel was the cleanest and best maintained and one of the most reasonably priced.... more
