A great, pretty clean, pet friendly hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The grounds are manicured and meticulously clean. We stayed at the Blue Rock resort largely on the basis of the many positive reviews on tripadvisor and were definitely pleased we did. The hotel is wonderfully taken care of from the grounds to the spic and span bathroom. The pristine nature of the motel far makes up for the more basic nature of the rooms. Blue Rock Resort really delivers what it promises. The place is charming and beautifully taken care of ... that includes the rooms, the gardens and the golf course. I would come back here again. I loved the fact we had access to the other Red Jacket Hotels . We did go to the one close to the beach and enjoyed the quiet at ours. Great value and will go back again. more

Our visit to the Best Western Blue Rock was outstanding. Clean rooms, great staff, and beautiful grounds in a relaxing atmosphere. Golf, outdoor pool. putting green and tennis were wonderful amenities for my family. Also had access to 4 other Red Jacket properties on the beach within a 10 minute drive. Stayed at the Blue Rock in August 2007 for son's wedding. Reserved 15 rooms for self and friends. Everyone agreed that the grounds were lovely, and the rooms were nicely decorated and immaculate. We stayed 4 nights during fourth of July week. The motel has everything we wanted - nice, quiet central location, large rooms with balconies and refridgerators and an outdoor pool. It has a nice looking golf course too but that is not why we stayed there. Its not on the ocean but you can use the private beaches at the... more
Unfortunately, we didn't get to respond to these comments until 2008. We will bring up the idea of updating our VCR players to DVD players at our next meeting. Thank you for your comments and suggestions.
This was a great hotel stay. The property was kept up beautifully. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. It is close to everything but in a very peaceful and relaxing location. I would definitely go back - soon. more
