The room price was $53, which was a bargain. It was basic, but had a microwave, fridge, large tv and air con and most of all it was clean. They even provided donuts and coffee in the reception free of charge on the mornings. There is free parking right outside your door. It's a short drive to Old Sturbridge Village.... more

I needed an inexpensive place to stay for a few nights to get some work done on a big project. The Scottish Inn was perfect for what I needed: cheap, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It's a great value -- for only $53 a night, I had a comfortable bed with nice sheets and decent pillows, excellent AC that beat back... more

Charge $120 a night for Pan Mass Challenge weekend, joined other local hotels in Profiteering off of a Cancer fundraiser. THEY SHOUL BE ASHAMED! Rooms were dirty, had stray long hairs on sheets, towels, sink. more

A nice room, very, very clean, comfortable king bed, TV w/HBO, microwave, fridge, good coffee in the office, good service, quiet, parked in front of my door, A/C, windows that open.... I was impressed, considering it was only $50. Also a little breakfast place right next door. more

This littel motel is dirt cheap, but without the dirt. Clean room and bathroom. Bed was a bit on the firm side and the pillows were nothing to write home about, but they were clean and at $55 a night, one could never complain. A clean working television, microwave, and refrigerator were in the room, which had a handsome wall... more

I really like mom and pop places. But this one is a little too elderly. VERY clean, new carpet, new bed linens, so no problems there. But the walls are like paper and the beds are really creaky and small (even for doubles) and the linens are a little too small if you have two people in a bed! There... more

I went to the facility on December 15 and stayed five nights as the result of losing power in my home. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. The room is large. It has all the amenities. There is plenty of hot water. The heat worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable. The TV had 99 stations. The staff is very... more

The Scottish Inn was booked for exactly one reason--it's cheap. Coming at the tail end of a nearly three week vacation, we figured we'd likely be running low on cash, and we were right. We had stayed one night at the Publick House (also in Sturbridge), then packed up and moved over to the Scottish Inn for four nights. A... more

Let's see: Pillows: Flat as a pancake Smell: STUNK. Asked for non-smoking but were given a smoking room which they could not change. They gave me a can of febreeze instead and offered to change the bedspread. Does that mean they did NOT change it BEFORE I got there? YUCK! On top of that I actually went out and purchased... more
