I came here over Memorial Day weekend 2009, just before the high season on MV. I spontaneously decided to make the trip to MV the week before, and after calling several other local B&Bs, decided on this one since there was no minimum stay requirement and the price was (relatively) cheap. It's just off the main street, so it's pretty quiet at night. I love how laid-back the place is -- you just call ahead to reserve the room and let yourself in through the screened-in porch at the back. There are a lot of nice antique touches to the rooms, with original woodwork, floors, and artwork on the walls. It struck me as the type of place where you could spend some time reading, relaxing, or sunning on the lawn between your other island activities.
