Clean and reasonable. Easy access to Boston. Check-In was easy....entrance set-up is a little weird. Decent toiletries. Good water pressure. Bed was fine. more

I stayed at the Holida Inn Express in Waltham for a business meeting in December 2008. The hotel is very convenient to the meeting location and the price was good. The lobby is smaller than I expected, but the front desk clerk checked me in quickly and efficiently. My room was one reserved for Priority Club members, and was one... more

I just got back from a 5 day stay at this hotel and being a seasoned traveller, I am extremely impressed with the Holiday Inn Express! I was in the exeter annex and although it was not in the main building, the room was great. It seemed renovated to me...The beds were very comfy...new beds, great pillows, 2 firm, 2... more

So I stayed here overnight because I went to visit some colleges in the Boston area. I was lucky enough to be bumped up into the main building because I am a Priority Club member, but I know I would have hated being in those extra buildings. The distance from downtown Boston is average, although a hotel a bit close... more

The price was good for the Boston area. The front desk was not helpful when asked questions about going into Boston. Our bathroom sink looked like it was going to fall off. No cinnamon rolls for breakfast!!!! I would stay somewhere else next time. more

My neice recommended this hotel, and it was a good choice. The desk clerk was very helpful while making reservations and when we arrived. There are 3 "annex" buildings. We were in the "Epcot" along the edge of the property where pine trees border an adjacent parking lot. So we had a clean, decently furnished room, well isolated from outside... more

Good for the money, clean. Had a nice sized fridge, which was unexpected. People need to remember it is a Holiday Inn Express, not a Crowne Plaza. You get what you pay for. I was in the annex building and I had no problem. Superb hotel staff. Decent Pub across the way at the Best Western. more

This was the only hotel available in the Waltham area for a business conference. I booked for two nights. When I arrived, I was informed that I would be in a separate building and therefore, I had to return to my car and put all my luggage back in to park in a different place. I asked if I could... more

this property was a the low-end of my expectations for HIE. I've usually had good experience with this brand. I had some problems with my key card while I was there. The staff didn't seem overly concerned. Overall, it's "OK" if you just need a place to stay the night and you're on a budget (I paid $94 AAA rate).... more

My expectations were unbelievably low -- I mean, Waltham? Holiday Inn? Pleasssse! And yes, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a cluster of business hotels and the staff was incredibly pleasant/helpful. There's a coffee machine in your room (I can't open my eyes in the morning without that first cup), the bathroom's A-okay and the bed was comfy... more
