This is a charming bed and breakfast located in the dry town of West Tisbury on Martha's Vineyard. The owner, Harriet is a lovely lady and you are made to feel very welcome and looked after. It is possible to stay here without a car as the island is serviced by good public transport regularly throughout the main season (May - Oct).
It is a pretty island and a wonderful way to see it is by bicycle which can be rented for $20 a day from Oak Bluffs, Edgartown or Vineyard Haven.
West Tisbury doesn't offer much in the way of nightlife, so this would suit people wishing to have a quiet relaxed time in the lovely surroundings and huge garden.
Restaurants/bar are closest in Edgartown, a 20 minute bus ride via the airport.
The only services in West Tisbury is a general store, library (with free Internet access), church and bus stop. more
