First I would like to start by saying that I wish I can give these ratings above a 10 instead of a 5. The GH completely met our expectations and then some. We just came back from a wonderful weeklong vacation and the only negative I can say is that I wish we had a little better weather and that... more

Thank you for the glowing review of what we call our "quiet cottage community". The Green Harbor and its staff are proof of the pride we take in caring for our guests and caring for our property. We look forward to your next visit.

Cottage was large size and immaculate. Deck and beach were very relaxing. The grill that was provided for each room was great for a night in. I was having a hard time choosing between rooms and the staff was great at explaining the different details of all the rooms that were available. We checked in and she said if we... more

We spent Columbus weekend here and were very impressed. Upon arriving Friday night we were immediately relieved having seen the place for the first time other than the web page. The grounds are beautiful, the staff was pleasant and professional, and the room was clean, modern, and extremely well equiped. The next morning was even better when we saw the... more

We stayed for one week in September in a one bedroom townhouse (2 adults with one child). The townhouse was renovated and quite nice. The beach was just a 2 minute walk away. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the Hyannis airport is not too far away. So, during the day and in the evening you hear the planes, which... more

We are pleased that your stay in our "quiet cottage community" was as we like all of our guests' stays to be. We can only hope that next time you visit, the winds blow from the other direction so that the aircraft landing pattern isn't a bother.

Our family of five stayed in the 1 BR townhouse right next to the beach. It was terrific! Besides the great location, the resort is well maintained and there are loads of fun activities for the kids. The staff was terrific. The townhouse was updated and very clean. We are definitely planning to go back next year. more

Our family has stayed at Green Harbor many times since the early 70's. Although it has grown a little over the years, it has remained an extremely well maintained and updated resort. I think what makes the property unique is its proximity to Hyannis (an easy bike ride or long walk to downtown Hyannis, along some nice back roads -... more

The same management staff has been there for many years. The point. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. Dick and Eugenie have been doing a wonder job making sure the Green Harbor and it's staff are the best they can be.

We recently stayed at the Green Harbor Resort and truly enjoyed our stay. We rented a 3-bedroom cottage, which included plenty of space and a full kitchen - perfect for our family of 5. We were immediately impressed at the cleanliness of our cottage and the immaculate grounds of the resort. Yes, this is a great place for families. Our... more

We just returned from a few days at the Green Harbor. It was our first time there and we did not know what to expect. We found a nice resort, in a very calm environment, far enough from the main roads but close to everything. We booked a small unit with kitchen. We were also lent a small grill to... more

Our family of four stayed in a two-bedroom suite and enjoyed our week-long stay. The bedrooms are clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Bathrooms are the same. The kitchen is well-appointed for what we needed, with plenty of glasses and plates for breakfast in the morning and afternoon snacks. We ate out at nights, though our neighbors, who had very young kids,... more

Yes, there is plenty to keep you busy at the Green Harbor. When you do come again, try bike rentals, that is a very residental neighbor hood and I think you will enjoy the tranquility.

A safe bet

My fiance and I spent a long weekend at Green Harbor. We live in Rhode Island, just an hour and a half drive to the Cape. Living so close, we have heard plenty of horror stories about dingy, dilapidated hotels. (and there are plenty of them!) Using Tripadvisor I selected Green Harbor, although it was not my first choice. Going... more

Thank you for your comments. I do think we fit a special nich. That is families or couples looking for a quiet secluded room, or townhouse that can give you the comforts of home, instead of the four walls and a TV.
