we're a retired couple from Michigan and enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great - near shops, coffee houses, the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, and nice restaurants. Loved staying at the Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts good and the park like gardens a joy to sit in. I would not stay here again. Firstly, it was extremely noisy. The inn is situated above a large, busy shop and bistr/bar, both of which stay open quite late and loud music was constantly being played from the Tee Shop below until 11pm at night. This place was dreadful We are courteous, global travellers and were shocked by the attitude of the innkeeper. When we arrived, tired and soaking wet, a letter was thrust at us by the innkeeper to sign absolving her from any loss etc before we were shown our room.
