Next time I go up north I will stay at the Arcadian Motel ,its quiet,clean and cheap. The owners are very kind. The only thing I didn't like is they didn,t have wireless internet. I could not use my wireless laptop. I told the owner and he said he is in the process of getting it. This motel is my first choice and my second choice the White house Motel in Mohawk. There is very little to choose from in the Calumet area,most have closed up due to the economy. In Sept,2009 the Arcadian owner said he was closing for the winter and would reopen in the spring. more

We have stayed here on numerous trips to the U.P. and we LOVE it! The rooms have always been clean on every trip! I know this motel is for sale, and I hope when new owners take over they wont change a thing about this place! more
