We have stayed here for years, on average 3 times a year. Every season gives you different scenery. We LOVE the staff, We always call direct for reservations and have never been disappointed. We already have reservations for winter carnival in February and are looking foreward to the snow. more

The AmericInn is in the middle of the Keweenaw National Historic Park. There is lots to visit with numerous copper mining sites and buildings to see. I stayed at this hotel while visiting my son at MTU in Hancock, MI. The hotel decor is Copper Country themed, with lots of pictures and exhibits on the walls of the history of the region. The hotel also features a lot of wood in the decor - perfect for the area! Breakfast is good and internet access is great.... more

We like the Americinn chain. They are usually pretty quiet. This one was pretty noisy, but I think it was more the fault of the guests than anything else. A little dated, but clean. Staff is friendly. I think its a little pricey for the area, but all the hotels in the U.P. are. more

We have stayed at Americinn numerous times since 1999. The staff has always been great, especially Sandy (front desk). We personally book through her so there is never a chance for a problem. Looking forward to seeing the U.P. and Sandy again soon. more
