The friendly desk staff was the only reason a "terrible" rating was not given... although they did give us a smoking room after a non-smoking was specifically reserved. And that room SMELLED big time. Even if I was a smoker, I think I would find it offensive. The hotel was old and outdated and in need of update and repair.... more

I stayed here because it is a holiday inn express. I usually find them clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. We got a AAA rate of $80 a night for 2 double beds. Stayed here in September 2005. Our room had a terrible stale smoke smell, surprising since they had recently renovated and the windows open. The hotel had only one girl working at night, no housekeeping, maintenence, or anyone.
