I found this inn online and booked it by phone. The accommodations and hospitality of the innkeepers, Marilyn and Hassan, were first-rate. The location clinched the booking for me, as it's only about a 5-minute walk from Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers, and I was planning to go to two games there. The Inn at 97 Winder is one of the greatest places that I have ever stayed. It is a wonderfully restored mansion that is within view of the Fox Theatre, Comerica Park and Ford Field.
