Spacious rooms, friendly staff, great conference facilities, and a well-run valet service make this hotel a welcome surprise for Detroit newcomers. The restaurant food was incredibly overpriced--think $18 for a standard omelet--perhaps due in part to the limited options in the surrounding area.

Great old charm to this well-renovated old queen. The second floor lobby and bar are a fine place to socialize and relax, the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The meeting rooms are eloquent and the catered food and service was solid throughout our two-day meeting.
