When we arrived, we loved the hotel. We loved all the space in our room. The people where nice and the free shuttle took us to the Red Wings Game. Great location! The next morning we went to the continental breakfast. There was cereal but no milk. There was picked over muffins. There was very very, black bananas that I... More

The suite is really spacious and well designed, making guests feel at home. Beds are comfortable (we had a king room), and the bathrooms are huge! I would highly recommend for a stay if you are in the area. Prices are reasonable for the room, I imagine it may have been cheaper as it is a slower season. Didn't eat... More

We stayed here during a visit to Detroit recently. I was very impressed with the size and appearance of our room. It included a good-sized sitting room with a television and a sofa. A small hallway led to a sunken bedroom with a king-sized bed, another television and a desk. The bathroom and closet were along the hallway. The decor... More

the rooms (all are suites) are huge, with spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds, sitting area, the hotel has a nice restaurant, great location and amazingly friendly and attentive staff, and at 60% or less of the price of other similar options in Detriot More

I was first in a suite where the sleeping area was around 65 degrees while the sitting area was around 80 degrees, this is an engineering issue obviously. I was booked for two nights and was not about about to go through this another night as I had a friend and his fiancee and child along with me. The plan... More

We stayed here Christmas night after a long drive and it was surprisingly quiet and seemingly under booked. We were able to walk right in because the valet was a breeze. I wasn't feeling well and I was appreciative of the easy and friendly service. Then...a wonderful Christmas present awaited me in our room...a huge deep soaking tub just calling... More

Great customer service. Very clean rooms. The layout of the suites are not the most convenient with the bedroom being on a different level from the bathroom. Enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel. More

The rooms are very spacious, on two levels and clean. Area near hotel felt safe enough. Service was very good in the hotel. Hotel is next to 'Greek Town' so some good restaurants nearby. Had breakfast at HAMS, an american 'greasy spoon' just around the corner. Will stay at the Atheneum again. More

I've stayed twice at The Antheneum, both times prior to an appointment at Karmanos Cancer Center. The hotel offers 'Karmanos-rates' to patients/families from out of town. The rate in March 2001 was $99- a steal!- and the rate last week was $149. The rooms are enormous, and could easily accomodate 4 people (2 in the king bed and 2 on... More
