After reading the other reviews, we almost didn't stay here, but we're very glad we did! No frills but a reasonable rate for a clean room and bathroom. We weren't looking for luxury or nightlife. Frankenmuth Motel is located in a quieter stretch of Frankenmuth, amidst lovely cornfields and next to the woolen mill and shop. Paid $89.00 a night for this room. Two queen beds that were hard and the room was dated. The room was dreary and musty smelling and the carpet dirty. The motel is a decent cheap place to stay among overpriced hotels. There were only a few issues I had with the place. 1- They don't give you normal soap for the shower or hand soap. We have stayed at the Frankenmuth Motel pretty much once a year every year since the late 1980's. We have stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge a few times as well, which we like for different reasons, but the Frankenmuth Motel is always our first choice. Stayed at the Frankenmuth motel in June and while its away somewhat from all the attractions it had its benefits. Price is around 20 dollars cheaper than the other hotels. Close to Bronners. This motel lacked some creature comforts..hair dryer..coffee pot..but was very clean and tidy. Beds weren't the best but since I was there for one night I survived.... more
