The hotel was clean and convenient, and my room was very comfortable. The staff happily accommodated my request to be put in a quiet area of the building away from large groups. However, the alarm clock was broken, and my requested wake-up call did NOT happen. Luckily, I woke up early. Also, the exterior door near my room was broken... more

We stayed at the Comfort Suites-South in Grand Rapids, MI two nights and were really happy with our stay. The rooms were very clean and fresh. The hotel looked as if it were new. Rooms were spacious and clean: two queen beds and sofa sleeper. Service was superb. Lobby and breakfast room were spacious and the breakfast was deluxe: waffles, yogurt, bagels, juice, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Large heated pool, sauna and whirlpool were well-maintained and CLEAN.
