About 10 wedding guest booked several rooms at the Colonial Inn in July. We were split up into different section of this historic hotel. It was just was I expected and a great value. One suite had two rooms/two baths and kitchenette facilities. Very nice complimentary breakfast served in the main building. This is a convenient walk to Harbor Springs for shopping/restaurants. It's only a short walk to Lake Michigan harbor.

The owner was very friendly and shared many stories of the history of Colonial Inn. I would very much recommend this for those enjoying a older type accommodation. If you want something newer, this isn't it. But we loved it! more

The inn is situated in a beautiful setting, and evening walking is quite nice. However, the two rooms we stayed in are in need of updating and remodeling. No heat on a chilly night even when thermostat was turned up. Shower water in one room was warm at best (not hot). Older room had musty smell. Both rooms missing the nice touches. Curtains need upgrading and replacing (poor fit, poor closure).

Quiet area, inn help was friendly. Pool was clean but not heated. more
