Unfortunately, a death in the family lead to my stay at Days Hotel. Nevertheless, our stay was very positive. The location of the hotel was in a central location for the places that we needed to visit. The rate was very good. I compared the rates of different hotels in the area and in downtown Detroit, and the rates here were better. Of course it has the basics: wireless internet, continental breakfast, cable; And it also has perks: great location (plenty of stores, pharmacies, restaurants & a Kinko's nearby), an exercise room, laundry room on site and restaurant attached. The attached restaurant has karyoke night, offers salsa lessons, and has a good variety of food. The staff in the hotel were very warm professional and kind (with the exception of maybe 1 or 2). On that note, another negative includes only one of two elevators working and it was slow.
