No heat, toilets don't work. Code enforcement needs called in. Lots of Better places to stay. This hotel is under new ownership and is not as the person before described. This motel has been updated and the staff is willing to accomodate needs. The price and quality is right and recommended as it is just across the road from Houghton Lake! FYI the hotel is now named Diesel's Motel and is no longer Cappy's.
In all of my expierence this is the worst place I have ever stayed in. Looks nice from the outside but not sure what type of record the owner or its only employee has. It is very outdated and dirty! You would be better off sleeping in your car. I would NOT stay in this motel.
