I booked online at the daysinn.com website and paid in full. Brought my receipt with me. At checkout they produced a paper with a $20 handwritten additional charge saying it was because I had 4 adults in my room. My receipt stated I had 4 adults and there was nothing anywhere on the receipt or website that said I would be charged more. They were rude about it and refused to waive the fee until I had to use my cell phone to call the days inn customer service line and throw a fit. I was very embarrassed that I had to go through all that to get the price that was on my receipt. The customer service line assured me that this wasn't company policy and was unique to this particular location. After I made the fuss the manager said she would waive the $20 this one time! We will not be back. We will be staying at the Super 8 there in town. more
