I was anticipating the worst w/ this hotel...but ya know what? Not half bad. It did what it was supposed to do, gave us a place to sleep. Continental breakfast is small, but we weren't expecting more. Staff was very friendly. We were upgraded to a suite which was quite large. If you want high class, go to Grand Rapids or Lansing. But for this area, this hotel was worth the price we paid.

We stayed here the night of July 21st as we were attending a race at a track 3 miles away. Check in was a nightmare - the two women behind the front desk knew little about what they were doing. Our room was run down and the bathroom was dirty! Hair and sand were everywhere - YUCK!! The only other hotel in town was full due to a local fair so we had to stay put for the night.
Thank god we only needed a place to grab a quick shower after the race and sleep a few hours before getting the heck out of there. The only way I would ever stay again is if there were no other motels available within 30 miles. I would also insist on checking out the room first to make sure that it was clean!
