Stumbled on this place by pure luck on our motorcycle trip. By far the best bang for the buck we've ever had. The room was scrupulously clean. We had a very comfortable recliner in our room! Staff was friendly and efficient. Can't sat enough. And all for 50 bucks a night. I will recommend to my friends.

We were traveling the upper UP and needed a place to stay and chose Mountain Host,,we were real happy with the cleanliness of the room and the kindness of the employees, they helped us find a good restaurant to eat supper at..had a simple continental brft, but I was full when i was done.Was not real expensive either.

This was the second time we had stayed here, the first in 2006. The place was still as nice as the first time. Rooms were large and very clean. Had great nights sleep. The two women at the desk were very friendly and helpful. For the price charged, this is an outstanding motel.
