We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to Allen, MI & the Antique Malls. We checked in, got our key, and went to one of the malls. When we returned, we loaded our belongings into the room. We were shocked at the condition of the room. This motel is dated, run down, but the most disturbing part is it was filthy. The toilet seat was filthy, (I had to clean it myself) the shower stall (yes stall) was blackened at the bottom & disgusting. All of the screen doors were removed from all the units. After looking around the filthy room, we pulled the bedspread & blanket down at the top corner. There was hair on the sheet, and they were stained. We immediately removed all of our belongings, returned the key, and checked into another motel. Price was not a factor. The 2nd motel we checked into was $2.00 more, and 1000 times cleaner.
