On my drive from Scottsdale to Kalamazoo I stayed at four Econo Lodges. This one was for sure the best. Almost everything looks fresh and new (although it is obviously an older property that has been remodeled). Staff is very friendly. This is the worst hotel I've ever been in! The clerk was less than friendly, the place smelled like sour milk and mold and the room was filthy - stained sheets, dirty carpet and a mystery smell that was disturbing.
