Our first nasty room lost power, 45 minutes later we got moved to a smaller dirtier room with one sheer curtain and passing people could see inside our room. In the morning when we were leaving we come to find out our door did not latch nor lock. When we went to checkout no one was at the front desk... More

We made reservations over the phone to stay at this place for two nights. We came all the way from Texas, and when we arrived we were extremely disappointed. Great staff, decent clean rooms. Manager was very helpful in directing us to resturants and directions to out of town places. Good location

The motel and staff were the best ever. I loved the quaint little community of Kalkaska and managed to arrive just as the snow was at its peak. Motel staff directed me to some nearby restaurants and offered discount coupons, the rooms were sparkling and clean and well-maintained. All in all it was an exceptional experience. Definitely the top of... More
