We've stayed up & down Michigan's eastern coast and by far Ludington is one of my favorite places. Quaint yet *so* much to do, excellent dining choices and shops. This is a Holiday Inn Express so you can't expect 5 star but as far as HIE's go this is a good one (especially for families). As a priority club member the reservation person talked me into a family suite as a free upgrade. I thought my sons would be a bit too old for that but accepted it anyway.... more

I would highly recommend this hotel for families visiting the lovely town of Ludington. The room was extremely large and airy. Huge comfortable beds and soft white towels. The room was large and super clean. The beds were so soft. We loved the choice between soft or firm pillows (or both as i decided). Really a great stay.
