Priced right. Very large room for the $$. Nice people. Room was clean had mini-fridge. We usually stay a block away but that motel closes for the winter. We will stay here on future trips up in the off season.
We stopped into Ventura after calling the chains hotels in Ludington which had no availability for the night. The lady at the desk let us see the room before checking in. It was clean and a basic room. Room was a good value. There was no hair dryer and the remote did not work.
Just a simple little place, but the rooms are very big and always very clean. Great bathroom and water pressure as well. Free wifi and the management is awesome! Very inexpensive, especially for being a block from Lake Michigan. I stay there every year, and it's a great time every time!
The Ventura is pretty basic, but a nice large, quiet room, nice shower and bathroom. All very clean. No pool, but just a short walk to the sandy beach of Ludington. Management was very friendly.
