This hotel was PERFECT for what we wanted. There was a beach with a grassy area for our 2 year old to play in. The best part of the hotel (besides the very very nice staff) was the fire pits on the beach. We had a fire the second night we were there and the hotel provides you with wood.... more

I stayed at the Grandview on Labour Day 2008, the motel was a good deal and great view of the bridge and island,and sunrise. I would give this resort a 2 and a half out of five. The best thing about the place is the staff . The staff are very friendly. but the rooms werent that clean the beach was all rocks there was no sand. the view of the hotel was nice. there was a view of the bridge from our room.... more

This hotel was very nasty and dirty, the beds are really really dirty and they didnt even come clean our room, we only received clean towels, I can truthfully say this was the the dirttiest hotel I'v ever stayed in!!!! dont even try it more

we stayed at the grand view for our family reunion of July 2003. we had 5 rooms and all were well finished and clean. we enjoyed the jet ski rental and the pool and not being in the hustle of downtown. I would recommend for others to stay here and had an overall good experience. more

The Grand View Resort is one of the nicest places I have stayed in a long time. The staff was extremely friendly espcially Sarah. She was very cheerful in the morning. The staff went out of there way to make our stay better. I would defiantly come and stay here agian. more
