We rented a cabin for a long weekend with our 2 dogs. The cabins are old and not well maintained although the beds were comfortable. Nothing is furnished except for an old 2 burner hot plate and towels so if you want coffee bring your own coffee maker if you want coffee without the inconveience of getting dressed and walking... more

The "Beach House" has a nice website, but it is nothing like it is in person. Our cabin was very old, very smelly, outdated, and it was very small. The owners were terrible. Beach cabin #27. STRONG smell of urine inside, I mean like somebody had a kidney infection smell. BAD. I cannot believe somebody actually has the guts to rent a place out for $250 for 2 nights and put their reputation on the line, and not clean the carpet. The floor was even sticky and stunk! We rented one of the economy/budget cottages and it was just fine if you plan on just sleeping there -- they are small, but clean. Heard recently that there was a change in ownership of this place so decided to try it out again. What a change in management. We were warmly welcomed and easily accomodated. The previous ownership (prior to July 1st) was very confrontational and hostile. That is definitely not the case now. I would recommend this place to anyone. more
