Pretty clean, but the A/C had a slight smell. Bed was OK, I slept fine for my 2 nights here. I would ask for a room facing the lake if I stayed there again. We drove down Milwaukee for my daughters cardiology visit. This time we had to stop because of a terrible storm. So we stopped at the first hotel in Menominee, which happened to be Econo Lodge. My wife and I stayed there in July 2006, were enroute back to Milwaukee from vacation. It was one of the few hotels along the route which had availability, and good thing.
