Modern new hotel, spacious airy room, located right by the site in Apollonia. Since the hotel is new the rooms are bright, clean and fresh smelling. This large modern hotel is very well situated for Cyrene and next-door Appollonia. The food was good in the evening but be at the buffet for the 7:30 starting bell - if you show up later the coach tours will have eaten most of the nice stuff! We spent 3 nights at the Al Manara in April. As others have said, it is directly adjacent to the Apollonia site (probably built on top of some of them!). A good hotel in a great location . My room was clean and comfortable , everything worked and the view from my balcony was terrific overlooking the med and the ancient site of Appolonia .
