This was the third lodge we stayed in during our visit to Etosha. Bedroom was very nice, but could have usefully had an option of blankets instead of a duvet which was far too warm but the alternative was only a sheet. Bathroom - very hazardous when taking a shower (a) to step down from floor-level into the bath -... More

We started our Etosha adventure at the western camp, ended at Namutoni, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The reception staff was unwelcoming, unhelpful and completely disinterested. We stayed in one of the bush chalets which at one time was decorated nicely, but was very tired looking. The curtains/blinds were missing in the bathroom so we had to shower in front of an... More

I'm sorry this review is so late-we actually stayed here in May 2012 but I have only just realised I missed reviewing our Etosha stay here. We stayed for one night in a Bush Chalet. It was the best room out of the three we had stayed in at the Etosha camps, yet overall our visit to Namutoni was probably... More

Only stayed here for one night but didn't have any complaints, the room was lovely with a really nice modern bathroom and for the adventurous an outside shower if you fancied being at one with nature. Other than that a lovely hug shower inside. Comfortable beds and a fridge, so couldn't ask for any more from the rooms. Our room... More

Admittedly some of our issues may be due to travel during low season (March 16), so things may be better during high season. Logistics are a bit of a hassle. The parking lot is located quite a distance from the chalets so you are supposed to drop luggage off at the drop-off point and then park your car in the... More

My latest experience with this restcamp (April 2013) makes me question the sense of no bathroom doors! Would you like to sleep in your partners odours? I did not appreciate this too much but maybe I simply do not share this kind of fetish...

We travelled to Namutoni directly from Okaukuejo and were originally quite pleased to find that our room was considerably larger than that at the previous camp. However, there was nothing else that compared favourably. As far as the room itself is concerned, neither I nor my partner find open plan toilet facilities to be particularly civilized, and a shower curtain... More

Namutoni campsite was our favourite of the three NWR campsites in Etosha. We had a shady, clean, grassy spot and there was a cute mongoose family that lived close by. They were not a pest unlike the baboons at Waterberg! The bathroom facilities are clean, give or take the odd bug or insect, but we had hot showers and no... More

Our 4rd stop in Namibia. Rooms are nice with a vast and very modern washroom. But food is so-so I took the crocs and it was very very bony. Even well cooked , it is still mostly bones. I did not like it. My wife choose beef but again hard like rocks. Moreover the waitress made to many mistakes. A... More

When we arrived at our first camp in Etosha we were greated by staff who clearly had no interest in wanting to help us. The camp is in a bad need of paint, the grass in unkept, the wooden walkways are falling to pieces, the decking around the pool is missing, the wooden stairs inside the fort are closed as... More
