I loved my stay at Canyon Village Lodge. It is situated in a spectacular setting under giant granite outcroppings. Rocks and boulders are incorporated into the interior decoration of the restaurant/bar/reception area. The rooms are big, clean and nicely decorated. Rooms and restaurant have paintings by Namibian Fine Arts students. Food was good, like all food we had in Namibia.... more

The area around the Fish River Canyon is a very beautiful part of Namibia, with wide open spaces, big sky, and peace and quiet aplenty. I stayed at the Canon Village for two nights, and enjoyed every minute of it. If you want to unwind, see the canyon, go for a few walks and just experience the area, then this... more
