Am not sure why this place has won awards - it is nothing special and for the expense we expected more. It had a good hot shower, is centally located, and the staff were happy to charge our camera battery every night and that's about the only good things about it. We stayed in a deluxe room overlooking the courtyard... More

Stayed two nights here in March, based on the reviews on Tripadvisor, but deeply disappointed. We were expecting a marvelous experience. Granted, it is in a good location close to Pottery Square, as well as the other sights in this pretty medieval town. But this place is ridiculously overpriced. We paid $63 per night for a "deluxe" room which turned... More

We stayed for three nights and definitely enjoyed our stay at Cosy Hotel. The location is picture perfect as the hotel faces a small courtyard where you can watch pottery being handmade -if you're lucky even from the window of your room.Plus, you reach the most scenic Taumadhi Tole within 2 min walk (we preferred Taumadhi over Durbar). We stayed... More

I had the chance to be the first guest in their new appartements. I stayed few nights in the more cosy bed in my life ! Everything for me was as if I have had a home in Nepal during my trip. The staff is amazingly nice and helpful. The restaurant was by far the best (the menu is rich... More

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are a bit pricey, even with a discount, but you do notice the difference in quality with other hotels in Nepal. Bottled water, breakfast and laundry is included in the price. You can choose your breakfast from the menu, which has a lot of choice. The food was good. The rooms are clean... More

We and the Cosy Hotel had the misfortune for us to say our first night there immediately after leaving the superb Jaiwana Haveli in Udaipur in India. We booked the Cosy Hotel in Bhatapur with Agoda for our first place to stay after our arrival in Nepal. Agoda charged us £143.04 or $226.80 for 4 nights in a supposed ‘deluxe’... More

The Cosy Hotel is indeed "cosy". We had a fairly large room which was at the back of the hotel and it was nice and quiet. The duvet cover was the biggest and warmest we've ever had! The bathroom was small but everything worked and we had lots of nice hot water. Would definitely recommend the Nepali breakfast in the... More

We really enjoyed our night at the Cosy Hotel in spite of the fact that we had limited light, no heat and a non-functioning television. Bhaktapur is wonderful and the Cosy Hotel is perfectly located to see the sites by foot. The room was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed the view and breakfast in the roof-top dining area. The... The hotel is in a good location in the street leading to Potters Square. We had a room that was large & clean with double glazed windows. The power is out a lot but they have backup lighting so you can always see in the room. There is a TV & plenty of hot water. There is a rooftop restaurant... More

I don't know about those these reviewers who complain about electricity when it comes to a particular hotel when this is Nepal, electricity is an issue everywhere. With that said, I highly recommend Cosy Hotel to anyone who's looking for a place to stay in Bhaktapur. It is conveniently between Taumadhi Square and Pottery Square, and Durbar Square is a... More
