In the village of Jomsom, up the hill from the main town, is the Jomsom Mountain Resort (not "retreat" as captioned above)
When you first arrive it looks like a World War 2 concrete bunker but don't be fooled - enter the front door and experience the Nepali greeting and you will fall in love with the place.
Its all stone built inside and the rooms are stone walled and floored (with carpets)- absolutely charming. The two room suites, where we stayed are particularly nice and are all fitted out with 4 star amenities - everything you need. A bit pricey at rack rates so negotiate !!
All power comes from solar panels and a genny so hot water is only available for a couple of hours a day once it heats up but as you will be out exploring every day, thats not a hardship.
Staff are friendly and attentive to a fault - Mr Badri runs an excellent hotel and I have now been back 4 times as I love it so much.
