We have stayed in the hotel for a week with very mixed feelings. Top location , extraordinary balcony view, very close to the city and the harbor, these are strong advantages of this hotel. The small island of Vis is a great place, not crowded with tourists, very calm, with nice beaches and beautiful and very clean sea. On the other side, there are enough restaurants, shops and other facilities to meet basic requirements. The hotel itself is situated only few meters from the seaside. Build in 1984, it is very basic, the furniture is more than outdated, with thin walls you can hear not only your neighbors, the customer service on the Croatian low standard level and the breakfast is just a crap. In general, it is just overpriced but so are the majority of hotels in this area. more
